Luceplan

Archetype draws inspiration from archetypal industrial lighting. Its form is both familiar and anonymous yet it embeds LED technology. The idea was to merge bulb and shade in one. Archetype screws directly to a standard ES pendant fitting.

Winner of Red Dot Design Award 2012.

Due to its unique and innovative construction, the Archetype makes modern LED technology compatible with traditional sockets. In addition, the lamp impresses with its formal austerity and functional minimalism. (Jury statement)
